Jesus I don’t love you

Jesus I don’t love you

Father i don’t love you
I pretend to love you when i don’t
I put on sheep’s clothing but I’m a wolf
A nicely decorated wolf
In my actions i abuse your love
In my speech i hurt you
In my closet i don’t control my flesh
In my anger i grieve you
In times of challenges i reject you
I boast of my love for you more than your love for me
Speaking in tongues yet my heart beats against your love
A hypocrite i am, so focused in doing your work yet so far away from you
Oh how much i don’t love you LORD
Help me to love you
Let the Spirit of the fear of the LORD rest upon me
I want to love you LORD
Teach me how to love you
Let my heart be in sync with your love
That i may boast of your love for me more than my love for you.
